Since existing data with tax authorities is insufficient, new enrolment is necessary. Also, this will ensure the latest data of taxpayers is available in the GST database without any recourse to the amendment process
Yes, the Enrolment Application for enrolment under GST can be rejected. If incorrect information or fraudulent documents are submitted with the application. However, the applicant taxpayer will be provided a reasonable opportunity of being heard where the applicant taxpayer can present his or her viewpoints.
After enrolment, mobile number and email address can be changed by adhering to the amendment process.
The Provisional Registration Certificate will be available for viewing and download at the Dashboard of the GST Common Portal on the appointed date. The certificate will be available only if the Registration Application was submitted successfully
