Bank Ordered to Repay
A Kerala High Court single bench has ordered a bank to repay a fixed deposit of Rs 5 lakh after the bank failed to return the amount upon maturity, the court also ordered the bank to pay 12 percent interest and Rs 10,000 as compensation, as per the consumer commission's order the bank was supposed to repay the amount with interest and compensation but it failed to do so, now the bank has been directed to repay the amount with the said interest and compensation
