The EPFO has also discontinued UAN activation and generation of new number through the portal and shifted both services to its Umang app.
The new EPF Scheme has introduced several changes, including a 25% minimum balance requirement for partial withdrawals. This means that employees will have to keep at least 25% of their provident fund balance before they can withdraw any amount.
