ICAI Extends Peer Review Deadline for PSB Bank Audits to 2026
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has moved the peer review deadline for public sector bank branch audit firms to December 31, 2026, giving firms extra time to complete compliance. Simultaneously, the Karnataka Taxpayers Association has asked for the tax audit report deadline to shift to October 31, while the Income Tax Department has reminded taxpayers to file their Tax Audit Returns promptly.
