India Boosts Business Data with New MSME-MoSPI MoU
India’s Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) and the MSME Ministry signed a Memorandum of Understanding to link the Udyam Registration system with the National Statistical Business Register, building a fuller, up‑to‑date database of micro, small and medium enterprises. The deal seeks to boost data accuracy, simplify reporting and give policymakers better insight for economic planning.
