India IP Office Shifts to Electronic Trademark Communication
The Indian Intellectual Property Office has updated its procedures, mandating electronic communication for trademark use acknowledgments and filings. This change replaces traditional paper FERs, aiming to speed up processing and improve transparency for trademark owners such as Dharma’s Jigra, ensuring quicker acknowledgment of trademark use in India.
The IP Office announced that all future trademark use acknowledgments must be submitted electronically, ending the old paper FER system.
