Less than a fifth of India's MSME procurement spend is digital, with tax registration being a major constraint, only 12.7 million out of 51.5 million Udyam-registered MSMEs are GST registered, which leaves them out of the formal economy and hinders their ability to participate in digital procurement, according to a report by India SME Forum and Amazon Business
