Recent patent grants in India include Resolve360's proprietary rehabilitation methodology for neuromuscular and musculoskeletal disorders.
The Indian Patent Office has also granted geographical indications for traditional products.
Courts have been active in protecting trademarks, with the Delhi High Court stopping a Patna firm from using Nintendo's name and the Madras High Court protecting the CYCLE trademark on dissimilar goods under Section 29(4).
Additionally, the Delhi High Court has ruled on trademark restoration, stating that third-party rights cannot be invoked in such cases.
