MCA Extends FY26 Filing Deadlines to Dec 31
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has pushed the FY 2025‑26 filing schedule, moving the AOC‑4 financial statement deadline to 31 December 2026 and extending the MGT‑7/MGT‑7A annual return deadline to 31 January 2027. No extra fees are charged, but companies must still hold their AGMs on time. The change applies to all Indian firms filing for the FY 2025‑26 period.
Key dates
- AOC‑4 (financial statements): due 31 Dec 2026.
- MGT‑7 & MGT‑7A (annual returns): extended to 31 Jan 2027.
- No additional filing fees for the extensions.
