If you have filed your income tax return but have not received your refund, you can check your ITR status online. - The income tax department has increased disclosure requirements for overseas investments and foreign assets, which may cause issues for some taxpayers. To check your refund status, you can visit the income tax department's website and follow these steps:
- log in to your account
- click on the 'View Returns/Forms' option
- select the relevant assessment year and click on 'Submit'
- you will then be able to see the status of your refund
