For risk-flagged applications, the system routes you to a Tamil Nadu GST Seva Kendra for in-person biometric Aadhaar verification. We schedule the appointment, prepare the document set the officer will physically inspect, and walk you through the visit. Missing this step puts the application into suspended status.
Once verification clears, GSTIN is allotted and the REG-06 certificate is downloadable. We confirm the jurisdiction allotted (State Tax versus CGST Chennai zone), check the principal place geo-code matches the declared address, and verify additional places of business reflect correctly.
LUT (RFD-11) is filed for exporters. The e-invoicing API is configured if you cross or expect to cross the โน5 crore threshold. The IMS dashboard workflow is briefed to your accounts team.
